Early Life and Career
Marina was a woman of remarkable dedication and passion. In her earlier years, she resided in Alaska, where she devoted much of her time to her business selling herbal products in Homer, Alaska. After meeting the love of her life, Robert “Bruce” Enterline, she found herself moving 3,000 miles to Ohio to start her life’s journey with him.
Professional Achievements
Marina poured her heart into her work as the owner and operator of Ohio Valley Herbal Products, which she founded in the early 2000s and successfully ran for 12 years. Her deep commitment to promoting health and wellness through wild plants and nature was evident in every aspect of her life and work.
A proud 1978 graduate of Princeton University, Marina furthered her education by earning her Master’s degree from the Trinity School of Natural Health in 2017. Her academic pursuits and professional endeavors always reflected her unwavering belief in the healing power of nature.
Personal Life
Outside of her professional life, Marina loved traveling with Bruce. She found immense joy in riding her motorcycle alongside him while they created their special memories. Together, they explored scenic routes like the Blue Ridge Parkway and cherished moments spent in Hot Springs, North Carolina, and the Smokey Mountains. She loved life, but was most content with him beside her.
Family and Legacy
Along with her devoted husband, Bruce, Marina is survived by her parents, Konrad and Lore Shaum; stepdaughters, Jessica Bolen of Youngstown and Caitlan (Tom) Byle of Columbiana; her sister, Melita Shaum of Berkeley, CA; and six grandchildren that she absolutely adored: Noah, Matt, Kyla, Evelyn, Tom, and Solomon. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever remember her enduring spirit, love for nature, and the countless ways she touched their lives.
