Join the Healthy Boiler Fair
The Healthy Boiler Fair, organized by Human Resources – Benefits, is set to take place on October 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballrooms. This annual event is an excellent opportunity for Purdue faculty and staff to explore the benefits available to them.
Why Attend the Fair?
According to Candace Shaffer, associate vice president of benefits and payroll, the fair is a platform to highlight the university’s commitment to health and wellness. It aligns with the five pillars of the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program: behavioral health, financial wellness, physical health, social wellness, and work-life integration.
Who Should Attend?
All benefits-eligible employees are encouraged to attend. The fair offers a firsthand look at the various benefits available, making it particularly timely as open enrollment for 2025 benefits approaches.
How to Participate?
Invitations have been sent to several Purdue departments. If you haven’t received one but wish to participate, contact Human Resources at benefitshr@purdue.edu.
