Join Us at the Geauga YMCA
The Geauga YMCA, in collaboration with University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center, is excited to host a free Senior Health and Wellness Fair. This event is open to the public and will take place on October 7 at the Geauga YMCA, located at 12460 Bass Lake Road in Munson Township.
What to Expect
The fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon and will feature 35 vendors offering free information, gifts, and services. Some vendors will also have products available for purchase. Highlights include free cholesterol, glucose, balance, blood pressure, and bone density screenings provided by UH Geauga Medical Center.
Unique Experiences
Enjoy a free mini chair massage from Chardon Integrated Wellness Center, or try out salt therapy in a portable salt tent provided by Salty of Chardon. Learn about the importance of proper footwear from Second Sole, and sample olive oils and balsamic vinegars from The Olive Scene.
Healthy Snacks and More
Heinen’s will offer samples of their “Good For You” snacks and drinks, while D’s B’s Honey will have raw honey, flavored honey, lip balm, and natural soaps for sale. Additionally, the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office will collect expired medications and provide information on fraud prevention.
Community Support
Sages Fruit Farm is generously donating 300 apples for attendees. Other vendors include Your CBD Store, Mar-Lou Shoes, Mary Kay, Sounds of Life Hearing Center, Alert Care Medical, Haas Healthcare Solutions, Ohio Walk-In Showers, and DoTerra Essential Oils.
