Join Us for the 17th Annual Health and Wellness Expo
Hanover Township and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison are excited to host the 17th annual “Just for the Health of It” community health and wellness expo. This event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hanover Township William Tiknis Campus, located at 240 S. Route 59, in Bartlett. The expo is free and open to the public, offering residents the opportunity to benefit from complimentary health screenings, including blood pressure, hearing, cholesterol, and glucose tests.
Why Attend the Health Expo?
“There is truly something for everyone at the health expo,” said Brian P. McGuire, Hanover Township supervisor. Whether you want to learn more about the township’s community health services or connect with local resources, this event is a must-visit for all residents. Over the years, hundreds have attended to take advantage of the free health screenings and gather important information on overall wellness.
Fun Activities for All Ages
In addition to health screenings, attendees can enjoy raffles, chair massages, and giveaways. The kid’s zone is back this year, featuring a petting zoo and bouncy castle, ensuring fun for the whole family.
Take Charge of Your Health
“One of the most important things we can do for ourselves and our families is to take a proactive approach to our physical and mental well-being,” said Commissioner Kevin Morrison. This event is an incredible opportunity for everyone in Hanover Township to learn about local resources and be inspired to adopt healthy habits year-round. Morrison expressed pride in co-sponsoring the event once again.
