Health and Wellness Fair in Webster City
The Webster City Park and Recreation invites community members to join the Health and Wellness Fair this Saturday, April 5th, at the Fuller Hall Recreation Center. The fair will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering numerous exhibits focused on health and well-being.
Events scheduled include:
- Diabetes Education Program: 9:00 a.m.
- Colon Health Presentation: 10:00 a.m.
- Heart Health Program: 11:00 a.m.
- Breast Cancer Awareness Presentation: 12:00 p.m.
Attendance is free, and everyone is encouraged to participate!
Complimentary Health Services in Las Vegas
Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, UMC will host a Spring Wellness Event at the Clark County Government Center on the same day, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. This family-friendly event is also free and offers a variety of health resources.
Participants can access:
- Dental screenings
- Pediatric consultations
- Prenatal resources
- A mobile grocery store featuring fresh produce
- Safety education on car seats and bicycles
- Fire safety education provided by Las Vegas Fire & Rescue
Additional giveaways will be available while supplies last. Both events underscore a growing commitment to health education and community engagement nationwide.
