Within just the first month of Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, the Thai Pavilion has welcomed over 200,000 visitors, captivated by Thailand’s innovative fusion of technology and cultural traditions.
Located in the Connecting Lives Zone (A13), the Thai Pavilion’s unique design features a roof inspired by Thai architecture, forming half of a traditional gable, complemented by a glass-walled structure. This architectural harmony symbolizes the theme—blending the old with the new.
“At Osaka Expo 2025, Thailand aims to showcase our potential and demonstrate our wisdom in shaping a better life and society,” said Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra. “Our participation under the theme ‘Connecting Lives for Greatest Happiness’ highlights how Thai happiness is rooted in our culture, arts, wisdom, and renowned hospitality.”
The pavilion emphasizes Thailand’s prowess in healthcare, positioning the country as a global Medical and Wellness Hub. It highlights the integration of medical services with traditional Thai health practices, illustrating Thailand’s role as a leader in health innovation and wellness tourism. Visitors experience zones dedicated to Thai immunity, medical innovation, and life sciences.
Highlights include State-of-the-art health tech such as Dinsaw Mini AI, a smart robot assisting elderly and patients with monitoring and communication, and innovations like the Space Dynamic Prosthetic Foot and Titanium Cranial Mesh, showcasing Thailand’s advanced medical manufacturing.
The Wellness focus extends into the Thai Living Lab, where visitors participate in traditional wellness workshops, Thai massage, herbal therapies, and culinary demonstrations emphasizing food’s medicinal properties. The pavilion underscores Thailand’s vision of creating a healthier, connected world through its rich heritage and cutting-edge innovation.
