Sioux Falls School District Hosts Free Community Health Fairs

The Sioux Falls School District recognizes the importance of education and well-being intertwined. In a bid to promote the health and wellness of students and their families, the district is sponsoring free community health fairs.

Paul Kaizer and Vicky Vetter from the Community Learning Centers (CLC) explained that the CLC is a collaborative initiative situated in elementary schools aimed at providing a safe, licensed environment for students, supplemented with learning opportunities.

Kaizer and Vetter shared information about two upcoming health fairs intended to furnish families with the necessary resources and assistance to improve their quality of life.

The second of three Community Health and Wellness Fairs is scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 2025, at JFK Elementary from 4:30 to 7 PM. Attendees can look forward to over 50 vendors offering free resources, as well as door prizes and giveaways, including a raffle for six new bicycles.
