Rocky Mountain Power Foundation’s Generous Contribution

The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has stepped forward to donate $469,000 in grant funding to various organizations throughout Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. The foundation’s aim is to foster safe, supportive, and healthy communities, and several organizations in Park City are among the recipients.

Programs Supported by the Grants

These grants will fund a range of programs designed to tackle crucial issues such as food insecurity, homelessness, and healthcare access for underserved populations. Initiatives focused on enhancing public safety and providing services for vulnerable groups, including teenagers, families, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and victims of abuse, will also benefit.

Local Highlights

The foundation has identified two key organizations in Summit County—Christian Center of Park City and People’s Health Clinic—which will both receive significant grant support. Dick Garlish, director of the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, ‘These local organizations are doing essential work that benefits everyone in our community.’ He emphasized that this funding will amplify their efforts to improve the lives of local residents.
