The Transformative Journey of Re Life Wellness
In the wake of the COVID pandemic, many entrepreneurs found their paths dramatically altered. Talya Jackson, the founder of Re Life Wellness, is among those who turned challenge into opportunity. Moving to North Carolina in 2019, she began saving for graduate school but was laid off when COVID hit. The forced shift led her to embrace her passion for personal training full-time, officially launching Re Life Wellness in 2021.
‘Even though my life took a different path,’ Jackson remarked, ‘this path has been the most rewarding.’
Empowering a Healthier Lifestyle
Operating out of locally-owned gyms in Winston-Salem and Clemmons, Jackson emphasizes a holistic approach to health. ‘I work to go along with my clients on their health journey, providing motivation, encouragement, and accountability. It’s about making being healthy a lifestyle,’ she explained, highlighting the fundamental impact of health on quality of life.
Celebrating Small Wins
Jackson takes immense joy in witnessing the transformations of her clients. ‘I really enjoy seeing the small wins my clients accomplish,’ she shared. ‘Seeing them reach significant weight loss and fitness goals is fantastic. But the increase in their confidence is equally rewarding.’
‘I love to see people prove themselves wrong.’
A Client Transformation Story
One noteworthy story involves a young woman who struggled for years to lose weight. ‘She was very hard on herself and saw this as her last resort,’ Jackson recalled. With tailored discussions and routine-building, the young woman transformed her life, losing over 20 lbs. and discovering a newfound joy in fitness amidst her hectic life.
Looking Ahead: Future Goals
Looking to the future, Jackson has ambitious plans for Re Life Wellness. ‘My future goals are to build a team of trainers to impact more people seeking to improve their health and to eventually open a Wellness Center that collaborates with other professionals,’ she stated.
