LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Las Vegas Raiderettes and Intermountain Health gathered together on Saturday for an annual toy drive aimed at lighting up the holiday season for local families facing healthcare struggles. With a mission to spread cheer, the event provided toys to 50 selected families in the Las Vegas area.
This year’s toy drive was a testament to the Raiders’ commitment to community responsibilities, showcasing how both players and organizational staff come together for a greater cause. The Raiderettes, known for their vibrant performances, stepped out of the spotlight to engage with families, providing a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Charles Woodson, a legendary figure in Raiders history, also participated in the event, expressing his sentiments about the importance of the initiative. He stated, ‘Looking at kids, they all should be able to enjoy life, and a lot of them have to go through some traumatic things in their life. For myself to be around and help brighten the day sometimes that’s the least we could do is to be around and show our support.’
The partnership between the Raiderettes and Intermountain Health highlights not only the joy of giving but also the ongoing support available to families in the community dealing with challenging health situations.
