Pope Francis Calls for Inclusive Health Care on Jubilee of the Sick

He mentioned, ‘As during my hospitalization, even now in my convalescence I feel the “finger of God” and experience His caring touch.’ His messages urged support and respect for health care workers who are often underappreciated and sometimes face aggression in their work environments.

Pope Francis called for governments and institutions to invest in health systems that prioritize the most fragile and poorest members of society.
