Franciscan Health Opens New Facility in Cherry Creek Plaza

New Health Services Open in Cherry Creek Plaza to Address Local Needs

On March 19, Franciscan Health celebrated the opening of its new facility located in Cherry Creek Plaza during a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event highlighted the new adult and pediatric rehabilitation spaces, in addition to the primary care area operated by Specialty Physicians of Illinois LLC.

Attendees had a chance to tour the facilities, engage with healthcare professionals, and learn more about the services offered, which include various health screenings and other activities designed to promote community engagement.

Raymond Grady, president and CEO of Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, acknowledged the collaborative effort involved in bringing the facility to fruition. ‘Together, we are all working to advance healthcare in this community,’ he noted. ‘I want you to know that we care, and we’ll be here for you 24 hours a day, dedicated to making you the best that you can be.’

As the new offices officially open, healthcare providers are ready to welcome patients, with the facility aiming to enhance outpatient therapy services and expand existing offerings. The total space utilized by Franciscan Health in the shopping center now exceeds 20,000 square feet.

Director of Rehabilitation Services, Laurie Shellito, emphasized the critical need for pediatric therapy, stating, ‘Being here in the community and ensuring we provide access to our programs is key. The younger the patients are, the sooner we can get started on the intervention, the better the results are going to be.’

The facility will address a range of needs, providing treatments for everything from orthopedic issues to developmental delays. The primary care services aim to make healthcare more accessible for local patients, with extended hours available for appointments.

To schedule an appointment, interested individuals can contact the facility at 708-647-0571.
