Lucy Goff didn’t intend to build a multi-million-dollar business, but a life-threatening experience shifted her path significantly. In 2012, after giving birth to her first child, Goff developed septicemia, a severe health condition requiring a six-week hospital stay.
During her recovery, Goff met Dr. Paul Clayton in Geneva, who introduced her to a regimen of supplements that ”changed my life … within weeks.” This experience ignited her passion for wellness and inspired her to create LYMA, a health and wellness company aiming to empower others.
At 51, Goff leads a fast-growing enterprise, offering supplements, the LYMA Laser, and skincare products. Goff’s commitment to health and holistic living is also reflected in her recent accolade on Forbes’ ”50 Over 50” global list.
Reflecting on her venture, Goff stated, ”I’ve been given this second chance, and I was really excited about the prospect of empowering people…”
Moreover, Goff’s journey is also about motherhood. At 49, she conceived her second child through IVF, showcasing her resilience and determination in both personal and professional realms.
She acknowledges her mission is to inspire women, emphasizing, ”It’s about feeling that you are your best self, and there’s no shame in that.” In her own words, ”If I’m living proof of one thing, it’s that you’re never too old, and it’s never too late.”
