Kroger Hosts Flu Vaccination Wellness Day
DALLAS, Texas — Kroger is launching a Flu Vaccination Wellness Day to encourage residents in the ArkLaTex region to get vaccinated against the flu, particularly as the season approaches.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 5, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., at various Kroger stores in North Texas, East Texas, and Northwest Louisiana.
“We are encouraging our customers and our associates to take a shot to improve your health ahead of flu season,” stated Jeff Loesch, Health and Wellness Leader for Kroger’s Dallas Division.
Participants who receive a flu shot will receive a $5 off coupon for future purchases. If they opt for additional vaccinations during the same visit, they will be rewarded with a $20 off coupon.
Loesch emphasized the importance of vaccines, saying, “Vaccines are critical to help individuals and communities prevent the spread of seasonal viruses such as the flu. Not only are you protecting yourself, but you are protecting others from what can become a serious illness and even lead to death for seniors and those with compromised immune systems.”
In addition to the flu vaccine, Kroger will be offering the 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine, RSV vaccine, and other valuable vaccinations, including those for shingles, tetanus, hepatitis A and B, HPV, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, meningitis, and pneumococcal disease.
