
Upcoming Health and Wellness Classes at Jericho Library
The Jericho Library is gearing up to offer a variety of health and wellness classes starting in January 2025. These new programs are designed to help community members improve their physical well-being and overall health.
Strength Training with Mindy Vasta
Kick off the New Year with a Virtual: Flex & Tone class led by Mindy Vasta. This low-impact strength training session, which requires no prior experience, will utilize weights, balls, and bands to enhance strength and fitness. The class takes place on January 6 at 4:00 PM and consists of nine sessions for a total cost of $54.
Relax and Restore with Linda Ray
Join fitness specialist Linda Ray on January 6 at 7:00 PM for the Fit & Feeling Great virtual class. This program focuses on relaxation techniques and strengthening exercises to improve well-being. The course includes 11 sessions for $66.
Meditation for Well-Being
On January 7 at 11:00 AM, Patricia Anderson will guide participants through a Guided Meditation for Self-Healing session. The meditation is aimed at promoting inner peace and self-healing.
Chair Yoga with Jolie Bosnjak
This Hybrid: Chair Yoga class, scheduled for January 9 at 10:00 AM, will be led by Jolie Bosnjak, who blends breath work and yoga poses to enhance mindfulness. The course accommodates all skill levels at a price of $66 for 11 sessions.
Traditional Yoga with Joe
Learn various yoga poses in Joe’s Hybrid: Yoga class starting on January 9 at 5:30 PM. This session encourages participants to practice mindfulness and breathing techniques. Registration is also $66 for 11 sessions.
