Supporting Our Veterans: A Community Effort

Representatives from Guitars for Vets engaged with veterans about their programs during the inaugural Veterans’ Health Faire organized by the Nevada County Veterans Service Office at the Grass Valley Veteran’s Memorial Building. This event was a significant success, attracting many veterans from the community who typically do not attend veterans’ events.

The event featured over 30 agencies providing various services to veterans. Nevada County Veterans Service Officer David West was present, facilitating connections between veterans and the resources available to them.

It is not common for representatives from the Veterans Administration to be available in Nevada County, making this event a vital opportunity for local veterans to access necessary services and support.
