Community Wellness Center Launches in Flemington

FLEMINGTON − Prevention Resources, a well-established nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the health standards of Central Jersey residents for over fifty years, has recently inaugurated its latest initiative, the Community Wellness Center, located on Emery Avenue.
This facility aims to provide a diverse array of services, ranging from mental health counseling and addiction prevention education to life application workshops and community outreach programs.
Jeff Kuhl, Hunterdon County Commission Director, commented on the opening, stating, ‘This Community Wellness Center will provide invaluable resources and support to our residents, promoting mental health awareness, addiction prevention, and overall wellness. As a Board, we are truly grateful to Prevention Resources for their dedication and hard work in making this center a reality.’
The center’s launch was celebrated on December 12 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, wherein representatives from Prevention Resources and local officials provided insights into the facility’s purpose and services. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the center and interact with the staff.
Kuhl added, ‘Their commitment to improving the health and well-being of our community is truly commendable. We look forward to the positive impact this center will have on the lives of our residents.’
