FIBO 2025 Launches New Longevity and Wellness Hall in Cologne
FIBO 2025 opens today in Cologne, Germany, with unprecedented attendance expectations across 11 halls. Special attention is drawn to the newly established Hall 1, dedicated to a comprehensive wellness exhibition and conference.
This year marks FIBO’s 40th anniversary, having first launched in 1985. The addition of Hall 1 signifies a significant expansion in the wellness sector, setting new standards in hospitality and health discussions.
Anke Brendt, product manager at FIBO, stated, ‘With the introduction of Hall 1, we’re setting new benchmarks for the future of wellness, hospitality, and longevity. Our goal is to provide a platform for hoteliers, spa operators, studio owners, medical professionals, and wellness experts to collaborate and innovate.’
The event is expected to engage industry leaders through various formats including the ‘Meeting Point Spa and Wellness’, the ‘Longevity Experience Area’, and the ‘Longevity and Hospitality Summit’.
Key presentations will begin today with the Aktiv Hotel Award presented by Mein Tophotel, which recognizes exceptional active hotels. Tomorrow, experts from the wellness industry will showcase how health and longevity drive economic success.
Among the speakers at this year’s FIBO are Andrew Gibson, Mia Kyricos, and Oliver Patrick. The event will also address innovative wellness diagnostics, interventions, and technologies.
FIBO continues to collaborate with organizations such as Deutscher Wellness Verband and the Deutsche Longevity Gesellschaft to curate a dynamic program addressing current wellness trends.
To directly experience the principles of longevity, a walk-in hotel room designed with features focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep, and mental health will be showcased at the event.
FIBO 2025 also includes training sessions on Pilates, yoga, and mental health, rounded off with a networking dinner to honor the winners of the Aktiv Hotel Award.
