In the heart of Concord, North Carolina, Augment Wellness Redefined has emerged as a beacon for those seeking holistic self-care. Since its opening in September, this wellness center has quickly become a local favorite, offering a diverse range of therapeutic services.

This wellness hub, owned by Emma and David Morris, provides an array of services tailored to improve physical and mental health. With offerings that include compression therapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, and cold plunges, customers can find solutions to enhance their wellbeing.
“Our goal is to have a wellness hub where we’re offering all these services in one place, so that you don’t have to chase all over Cabarrus County,” Emma stated. “You can come and get all your wellness needs taken care of here.”
Services Offered
Augment Wellness specializes in four core treatments:
- Compression Therapy: Increases blood flow and aids in muscle recovery.
- Infrared Sauna Therapy: Enhances skin elasticity and promotes healing.
- Cold Water Immersion: A revitalizing experience lasting about three minutes to boost the immune system.
- Contrast Immersion Therapy: Alternating between heat and cold to enhance circulation.
Additionally, clients can access over a dozen supplemental services, including red-light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. These advanced techniques fall under the umbrella of biohacking—a concept that seeks to optimize human performance and health through technology.
A Personal Journey to Wellness
Emma and David’s journey into the wellness industry began about a year and a half ago with cold plunging, which they found transformative. David recounted, “The cold plunge was the catalyst; it kicked off our wellness journey.” Their personal health improvements led to the decision to bring Augment Wellness to their community, with the goal of helping others achieve similar transformations.
Community Engagement
As they celebrate six months in operation, Augment Wellness has built a strong community presence with over 250 members. The Morrises continue to engage the community through fun events like polar plunges, while their upcoming 24-hour “Plunge-A-Thon” will raise money for local charities.
“People are grateful that we did it here in Concord,” Emma added, reflecting on the positive impact the business has had since opening.
The center operates Monday to Friday from 5:40 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those seeking to improve their wellbeing can learn more about membership options and services by visiting Augment Wellness Redefined.
