Empowering Healthy Aging with Home Instead
This winter, it’s time to prioritize health! Home Instead, a leader in senior care, will host three engaging workshops that focus on various aspects of healthy aging. Complementing their article series in the Daily Chronicle, these workshops are designed to empower seniors and adults alike.
Each workshop will focus on a specific topic:
- December: Seasonal Depression – Beating the Winter Blues
- January: Home Safety – Ways to Accommodate Aging in Place
- February: Heart Health Month – Taking Care of Your Heart
For over a decade, Home Instead DeKalb has been dedicated to the well-being of seniors in DeKalb, Lee, Ogle, and parts of Kane Counties. Under the leadership of Rob and Al Mondi since 2019, this locally owned franchise is committed to helping clients live comfortably at home.
All workshops are free of charge and open to adults and seniors without the need for registration. For inquiries, please reach out to Chelsea at chelsear@dkpl.org or call (815) 756-9568 ext. 1700.
