In response, various property developers are undertaking essential inspections to maintain residents’ safety and restore confidence among potential buyers.
According to Thansettakij newspaper, 15 major real estate developers have rolled out a series of measures to reassure condominium buyers, beginning with rigorous inspections of their properties.
Developer Responses
L.P.N. Development Plc, in partnership with LPP Property, conducted preliminary inspections and found no significant damage affecting structural integrity. Similarly, Ananda Development Plc utilized a team of engineers to inspect the safety of their buildings, ensuring optimal living conditions for residents.
AP Thailand Plc responded by forming a specialized team, including building designers and expert professors, to evaluate structural safety. Meanwhile, Sansiri Plc activated a team of experts to assist residents across all projects and set up a center for insurance claims related to property damage.
Quick assessments were also completed by Supalai Plc across all 90 projects nationwide, confirming the structural safety of condos specifically in Chiang Mai, verified by government authorities.
Other prominent developers, such as Pruksa Real Estate Plc and SC Asset Corporation Plc, focused on proactive safety measures and rapid repairs to enhance residents’ confidence in their properties.
