Cooking workshop with hands-on learning

Cooking Workshop to Promote Health and Wellness in Interlochen

On Monday, December 9, a unique cooking workshop will be held at the Interlochen Public Library from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. The workshop, led by Chef Susanne, aims to equip participants with practical cooking techniques while fostering a healthier lifestyle.

This hands-on session allows participants to learn by doing, as they will cook a complete recipe from start to finish. Workshops like this not only support culinary skills but also emphasize the importance of healthy eating habits.

‘It’s all about living your best life through nutrition and cooking,’ says Chef Susanne, emphasizing the significance of these skills in daily living.

This workshop is free of charge, but registration is required due to limited space. Only 12 adults can participate, ensuring a more interactive experience for everyone involved. Interested individuals can secure their spot by calling 231-276-6767.

Engaging in culinary arts promotes community bonding while enhancing personal health and well-being. This initiative is part of a broader community effort to promote health through cooking.

For those keen to participate in similar initiatives, keep an eye on local community boards, as more workshops and classes are expected to follow.
