On Thursday afternoon, Community Health and Wellness Partners (CHWP) celebrated the opening of their fifth School-Based Health Center at Graham Elementary.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured speeches from Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, Congressman Jim Jordan, and State Representative Tin Barhorst.
Tara Bair, President/Chief Executive Officer of Community Health and Wellness Partners, commented on the significance of the Health Center.
The new facility is a collaboration between CHWP and Graham Local Schools, designed to bring essential health services to students in a familiar environment.
This initiative aims to ensure that students have access to healthcare services that support both their well-being and educational success.
The center provides a consistent means for students to receive medical care, promoting better health outcomes and enhancing academic achievement through reduced absenteeism and increased graduation rates.
