Exciting Events for Teens in Buena Vista
The Buena Vista LGBTQIA+ Youth Group is set to kick off the New Year with a series of engaging events aimed at promoting community and inclusion among LGBTQIA+ teens and their allies.
Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18. The events, which are free of charge, welcome all community members, regardless of their identification as LGBTQIA+. This initiative aims to foster inclusiveness and support among young individuals in the area.
Funding and Support
The local youth program has received a grant from the Arkansas River Valley LGBTQ Fund, which was established in 2023 to address service gaps for LGBTQ+ residents. This funding will help create safe spaces for BV youth.
