Blanchard Valley Health System Opens New Wellness Park in Findlay

The Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has officially opened its new Wellness Park, a modern healthcare facility located on Wellness Way off County Road 99 in Findlay, Ohio, adjacent to I-75. This innovative campus aims to address various health needs within the local community.

In a recent interview, Heather Schalk, volunteer services manager for BVHS, emphasized the collaborative approach of this new center, stating that healthcare experts will work together to provide comprehensive care all under one roof. “We are committed to our mission of ‘Caring for a lifetime,'” she noted.

The Wellness Park will offer a variety of healthcare services, including primary care, endocrinology, diabetes management, and rheumatology. It will also provide rehabilitation therapies encompassing physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Starting January 6, 2025, imaging and laboratory services will be available on-site, further enhancing accessibility for patients.

As part of its strategy to combat chronic conditions like diabetes, the Wellness Park will not only expand primary care options but also serve as a hub for specialized medical services. Schalk reported, “Just as our dedicated BVHS providers empower their patients to achieve better health, we believe Wellness Park will strengthen the overall well-being of Northwest Ohio.””>
