Bill Clinton Hospitalized for Fever: Health Update from a Top Aide
Former President Bill Clinton has been hospitalized at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington for testing and observation after developing a fever, as confirmed by his deputy chief of staff, Angel Ureña.
Ureña stated that Clinton, 78, is in good spirits, saying, ‘He is grateful for the care he is receiving.’ A source close to Clinton described the situation as ‘not urgent,’ affirming that the former president ‘will be fine,’ and adding that he is ‘awake and alert.’
Previous Health Concerns
This is not the first health scare for Clinton since he left office in 2001. He underwent a quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 and returned for a heart procedure in 2010.
In 2021, Clinton was also hospitalized for a urological infection that spread to his bloodstream, requiring six days of care in California.
As he continues to receive medical attention, many Americans are sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
