Bank of Baroda Launches Enhanced Employee Wellness Program

Bengaluru: Bank of Baroda (Bank), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has introduced a comprehensive wellness initiative aimed at nurturing the emotional, mental, and psychological wellbeing of its over 75,000 employees and their family members. In collaboration with Truworth Wellness, the Bank has rolled out an enhanced version of its “Employee Assistance Program” (EAP), which is a pioneering initiative in the corporate wellness space.
The program aims to foster a thriving work environment and actively support the overall wellbeing of the Bank’s multi-generational workforce by addressing the diverse emotional wellness needs of its employees.
Key Features of the Enhanced Program
- Confidential and Personalized Support: Employees and their dependent family members are entitled to confidential, one-on-one counseling sessions with professional experts for various concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, and personal issues.
- Multiple Modes of Counseling: Sessions can be conducted in-person, through video calls, or via a 24/7 toll-free helpline, catering to individual preferences.
- Accessibility: The program offers round-the-clock helpline and virtual assistance for immediate support.
- Digital Support: A user-friendly mobile app called “Wellness Corner” includes features such as mental wellness assessments, mood trackers, AI-based virtual therapy sessions, guided wellness programs, and webinars.
- Supplementary Tools: Personal wellness dashboards, health trackers, and discounts on health-related services are included, promoting goal setting and tracking.
