Hackensack Meridian Health Opens New Wellness Center in Clifton

Hackensack Meridian Health has officially opened a new health and wellness center in Clifton, marking a significant expansion of its services in North Jersey. The facility, situated at 1 Metro Blvd. just off Route 3, spans 170,000 square feet across four floors and is designed to serve as a comprehensive healthcare hub for the community.

This opening represents the fourth wellness center launched by Hackensack Meridian Health over the past four years, with previous centers located in Clark, Eatontown, and Paramus. Additional centers are planned for Eatontown later this year and Metropark in 2026.

The Clifton center features an 80,000-square-foot development that aims to improve healthcare accessibility by reducing barriers such as travel distance and wait times. Its strategic location includes a bus stop on campus, facilitating easier access for local residents.

According to Hackensack Meridian Health, the facility is conceived as a “one-stop destination” offering a broad range of medical services, including primary care, urgent care for both adults and children, rheumatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, occupational health, and early detection and risk assessment services. This initiative underscores the network’s commitment to providing compassionate, coordinated care that is close to home for residents.

“Our new wellness center in Clifton is part of our broader vision to enhance healthcare access and quality in Passaic County,” a spokesperson for Hackensack Meridian Health stated. “We are dedicated to delivering personalized and efficient healthcare services that meet the diverse needs of our community.”

The opening of this facility underscores the ongoing efforts by healthcare providers to adapt to changing community demands and promote healthier lifestyles through accessible services. By expanding its footprint in North Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health continues to reinforce its position as a leader in regional healthcare provision.
