Building a Healthy Mindset: A Free Mental Wellness Event in Flint
Flint, Michigan — In an ongoing effort to promote mental health awareness and emotional resilience, Hamilton Community Health Network is organizing a new session in its popular ‘Healthy Mind/Healthy Body’ series. The upcoming event, titled ‘Building a Healthy Mindset,’ is scheduled for Friday, June 20, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the North Pointe Clinic, located at 5710 Clio Rd.
This free event is open to the public, encouraging community members to explore strategies for managing stress, developing resilience, and maintaining mental clarity during seasons of change, such as summer, graduations, and school breaks.
According to Albert Ujkaj, MBA, LMSW, Hamilton’s Director of Behavioral Health, ‘Building a healthy mindset is crucial for people of all ages, but especially as we transition into a new season. We all face daily stresses and challenges that can impact our mental health.’
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn practical techniques for fostering habits that support mental and emotional well-being. Light refreshments will be served, and there will be chances to win wellness-themed giveaways.
Part of Hamilton’s effort to make mental health resources accessible, the ‘Healthy Mind/Healthy Body’ series aims at creating judgment-free environments for conversations about mental wellness. Both patients and non-patients are welcome. Those interested can RSVP by emailing [email protected]. For more details about Hamilton Community Health Network and its services, visit hamiltonchn.org.
