Freaky Friday actress Lindsay Lohan has recently garnered attention for her dedicated approach to health and wellness. In an interview with Bustle, she shared insights into her fitness routine, emphasizing the importance of staying active and healthy as she balances her career and personal life.

Lohan revealed her fondness for Pilates, describing it as a ‘gentle but effective’ exercise that she prefers for its low-impact benefits. She also incorporates CrossFit into her regimen and mentions that her trainer often pushes her harder depending on her focus for the day.

“I love Pilates because it’s gentle but effective, and I prefer that,” she stated. The actress also highlighted the role of strength training, especially as she ages, to maintain her physical health. “Because especially with age, you need to build strength more than anything,” she explained. She considers her daily activities with her son as a form of exercise, emphasizing the importance of movement in her busy schedule.

Looking back, Lohan noted that health and wellness were not prioritized as much during her younger years, saying, ‘I feel like exercise wasn’t such a big thing in our generation — health and wellness weren’t as big as they are now.’

She expressed that as she has gotten older, she has come to value how good she feels when she maintains her routine, craving the endorphins that come with regular exercise. “I want to be able to keep up with my children,” she added, calling her wellness activities a ‘ritual.’
