Community Focus on Health and Wellness
The City of Texarkana, Texas is inviting the community to join in on a day dedicated to health during its Annual Health & Wellness Fair. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Southwest Center, located at 3222 W. 7th Street.
Free Health Services Available
This free event promotes wellness and healthy living by offering a wide range of services. Attendees will have access to free health screenings, including blood pressure and glucose checks. Moreover, there will be a blood donation drive to support local hospitals and individuals in need.
Engaging with Local Vendors
In addition to the health services, the fair will feature numerous local and regional vendors who will showcase health-related products, wellness services, and resources. This is a perfect opportunity for residents to connect with organizations committed to promoting better living within the Texarkana area.
Vendor Participation Encouraged
Vendors are still welcome to participate. Instead of charging a traditional booth fee, vendors are asked to bring a door prize for raffles that will take place during the fair.
