Introduction
MVP Health Care, Town of Herkimer, and National Fitness Campaign (NFC) have partnered to bring an outdoor Fitness Court® Studio to the Town of Herkimer. Located at 154 Pine Grove Road, the studio will open on Saturday, July 13 at 10:00am with demonstrations, a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00am, and a friendly competition between local police and firefighters at 11:30am.
Features of the Fitness Court Studio
The new Fitness Court Studio aims to expand free access to high-quality workouts and create equitable access to exercise for communities around the state. It features two workout areas separated by a mural wall showcasing scenic photography of the Town of Herkimer.
One side delivers a powerful seven-minute full-body workout, while the other side offers a versatile outdoor class area for yoga, Zumba, Pilates, and other group wellness activities.
Adaptable Workouts for All
Designed for people aged 14 and over and adaptable for all fitness levels, the workouts allow participants to move at their own pace. Users can also download the free Fitness Court App for a digitally supported wellness experience.
Community Impact
