A Reston Resident Introduces Sweathouz Wellness Studio
A Reston resident known for her role in teaching meditation and yoga is set to expand her wellness offerings with the upcoming launch of Sweathouz, a chain dedicated to contrast therapy, at RTC West, located at 12100 Sunset Hills Road, Suite R9.
Natalie Siewers, the franchise owner, has stated that the location is expected to open in late spring or early summer. Drawing from her experience as both a resident and wellness instructor, Siewers expressed her excitement about bringing this innovative service to the community.
She remarked, “With the area’s active lifestyle culture and proximity to both residential neighborhoods and business centers, Reston presents an ideal market for our wellness services. Our model is science-backed, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring it into our community.”
Sweathouz currently operates over 40 locations across the United States, and was founded in 2018 in Atlanta by Jamie Weeks, who had the vision of creating a wellness service primarily focusing on contrast therapy—alternating treatments between hot and cold to enhance recovery and wellbeing.
“Sweathouz was founded with the goal of making contrast therapy accessible,” Siewers explained, emphasizing the establishment’s focus on private suites that enhance comfort compared to traditional wellness centers.
“Each of our suites offers a fully private experience where clients control their environment—from temperature settings to entertainment options,” Siewers noted, highlighting the commitment to personalization.
The forthcoming studio at RTC West will feature private suites equipped with infrared saunas, cold plunges, and vitamin C-infused showers. Siewers elaborated on the amenities: “Clients can expect a luxury experience with conveniences like complimentary vitamin C-infused showers, cold compresses, Dyson hair dryers, and premium towel service. Customers will get an hour in private rooms, which are thoroughly cleaned after each use.”
The benefits of contrast therapy, according to Siewers, include “reduced inflammation, improved circulation, enhanced recovery, and mental clarity.” Siewers expressed optimism about the positive impact Sweathouz will have on the health and wellness landscape of Reston. “We look forward to helping Reston residents and professionals enhance their recovery routines and overall wellbeing.”
In addition to Sweathouz, RTC West plans to welcome Roggenart Bakery Cafe and Bistro this year in a former Starbucks location at 12130A Sunset Hills Road, enriching the area’s culinary options.
