
Port Arthur Hosts Inaugural Health Fair to Promote Wellness
PORT ARTHUR — The Lamar State College Port Arthur Allied Health Society is set to launch its inaugural health fair this Saturday, March 22nd, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center located at 1800 Lakeshore Drive.
This event, aptly titled ‘Spring into Health’, aims to enhance community health awareness and promote wellness among residents.
What to Expect
Attendees can look forward to a variety of health-related activities and resources, as highlighted by Cynthia Arceneaux, a nursing instructor and family nurse practitioner, alongside Heather Breaux, the Allied Health Department Chair.
Arceneaux expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, ‘This fair is designed to bring our community together and provide valuable health information and services.’ The event will have numerous health-related booths, screenings, and informational sessions.
