
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The African American Wellness Agency has announced that Dr. Michael Stubblefield will serve as the Honorary Chair for the 2025 Black Men’s Wellness Day.
The event will take place on August 16 at Jesup W. Scott High School, beginning at 7 a.m. The day will include a 5k run/walk as well as expert-led discussions, health screenings, fitness sessions, entertainment, and vendors aimed at eliminating barriers to better health.
Organizers have recognized Dr. Stubblefield as a distinguished leader in dentistry who advocates for health equity, education, and community empowerment. In his role as Honorary Chair, he will help raise awareness and ensure that men in the community have access to essential health resources.
Dr. Stubblefield expressed his enthusiasm, stating, ‘Wellness is not just about physical health; it’s about mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I am honored to serve as this year’s Honorary Chair and stand alongside an organization that is truly making a difference in the lives of Black men and their families.’
