Celebrating Women in Arts: A Prominent Showcase at Med Center

Cathy Bishop, a key figure in the art community, was seen inspecting works during the 33rd Annual Med Center Health’s Women in the Arts Exhibit kickoff reception held on March 13, 2025. With over 100 artists, their guests, and staff from the Medical Center in attendance, the event marked a celebration of female artistic talent in Kentucky.

The exhibit is scheduled for March 14 and 15, featuring a diverse range of artwork from female artists aged 18 and older. Categories include painting, sculpture, ceramics, works on paper, fiber works, and photography.

Awards and Recognition

Artists are competing for various awards, including Special Purchase, Cash Merit, Honorable Mention, and the ArtWorks Award. A selected piece for the 2025 Special Purchase Award will be purchased and displayed at the Medical Center, as stated by the organizing committee.
