Carlsquare, a renowned financial advisory firm, has announced the opening of its latest office in Houston. This strategic expansion is focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising initiatives targeting high-growth consumer businesses within the Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness, and Active Lifestyle sectors.
According to Susan Blanco, Co-Head of North America at Carlsquare, ‘Our Houston office will focus on M&A and capital raising transactions for high-growth consumer businesses, with a particular emphasis on the Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness, and Active Lifestyle verticals. John Cooper, another Co-Head of North America, added that ‘Expanding into the consumer sector is a natural evolution for Carlsquare North America.’ He mentioned the firm’s expertise in sectors like Software and Healthcare as a strong foundation for success in consumer-focused transactions.
The Houston office will be led by Matthew S. Rovelli, who previously held a Managing Director position at North Point M&A. Rovelli, who brings extensive experience in the Food & Beverage and Wellness sectors, expressed enthusiasm for the new venture, stating, ‘I was attracted by Carlsquare’s entrepreneurial ethos and commitment to delivering best-in-class client service.’ He further emphasized his eagerness to collaborate with the team to build up the consumer practice.
