Fairfield County Board of Health Honors Toni Ashton

LANCASTER, OH – On January 12, 2025, the Fairfield County Board of Health announced that Toni Ashton has been awarded the 2024 Public Health Guardian Award. This prestigious award acknowledges remarkable contributions in public health within the county.

Toni Ashton holds the position of Prevention Coordinator at the Fairfield County ADAMH Board. She plays a pivotal role leading the Fairfield County Suicide Prevention Coalition and the Fairfield County P.A.R.T. coalition, which focuses on Prevention, Advocacy, Recovery, and Treatment. Her work extends to providing Crisis Intervention Team training for law enforcement and being a certified trainer in Mental Health First Aid.

Ashton’s dedication to improving public and mental health has positively affected countless lives. Her commitment fosters collaborative efforts, strengthening support systems to address critical health challenges.
