Kroger Offers Flu Shot Incentives in ArkLaTex
DALLAS, Texas – Kroger is taking steps to encourage flu vaccinations this season by hosting a special Vaccination Wellness Day at select stores. Customers and associates in parts of the ArkLaTex region, including North Texas, East Texas, and Northwest Louisiana, are invited to participate on Saturday, October 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Health and Wellness Leader for Kroger’s Dallas Division, Jeff Loesch, stated, ‘We are encouraging our customers and our associates to take a shot to improve your health ahead of flu season.’
During this event, customers receiving a flu shot will receive a coupon valued at $5 off their next purchase at Kroger. Furthermore, those opting for a flu shot and any additional vaccine on the same day will receive a $20 off coupon.
‘Vaccines are critical to help individuals and communities prevent the spread of seasonal viruses such as the flu,’ highlighted Loesch. ‘Not only are you protecting yourself, but you are protecting others from what can become a serious illness and even lead to death for seniors and those with compromised immune systems.’
In addition to the flu vaccine, Kroger will offer vaccinations for COVID-19, RSV, shingles, tetanus, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, HPV, measles, mumps, rubella, meningitis, and pneumococcal disease.
Eligibility for the incentives extends to individuals under 65 who receive vaccinations at participating Kroger Pharmacies and are not enrolled in federally funded healthcare programs such as Medicaid and Medicare.
