Leadership Transition at Cornerstone VNA: Jennifer Ufkin Succeeds Julie Reynolds as President/CEO

Rochester, NH – Cornerstone VNA, a respected nonprofit home health provider, has announced a significant leadership change as it continues its commitment to quality care in the community. Effective January 3, 2025, Jennifer Ufkin, RN, MSN, will take over the reins as President/CEO from Julie Reynolds, RN, MS, who is retiring after 30 years of exemplary service, including 12 years in the top position.

Julie Reynolds’ Legacy

Reynolds, who joined Cornerstone VNA in 1994, has fostered significant growth within the organization. During her tenure, the organization expanded its service and staffing, earning accolades such as the Business NH Magazine’s 2020 Health Care Business of the Decade. She expressed her positivity regarding the leadership transition by stating, ‘I am thrilled that our Board of Directors selected Jen as the next leader of this organization.’

Jennifer Ufkin’s Vision

Ufkin brings over two decades of experience with Cornerstone VNA, having started her career as a Home Care nurse. She has shown great dedication to improving patient care standards and holds significant operational leadership experience. ‘This is an incredible opportunity to lead Cornerstone VNA during such an exciting time of growth and innovation,’ Ufkin said. Her career achievements include promoting staff development and spearheading telehealth initiatives.

Future Directions

As Reynolds steps down, she leaves behind a legacy she believes will thrive under Ufkin’s leadership. ‘Jen and the Cornerstone VNA team have an exciting and rewarding journey ahead as they continue to explore new opportunities to advance our mission,’ Reynolds noted with confidence.
