The GLOW YMCA, in collaboration with Rochester Regional Health (RRH), recently celebrated the opening of the new Healthy Living Campus in Batavia, New York. This facility combines RRH Batavia Primary Care, the Genesee County YMCA, and United Memorial Medical Center’s Healthy Living programs into one central location.
The Healthy Living Campus spans 78,000 square feet and is situated at 211 E. Main St. It offers an array of services, including primary care, nutrition education, cancer screenings, and a variety of recreational and multiuse spaces.
The facility is equipped with 20 exam rooms along with two treatment rooms designated for UMMC providers, who offer primary care, telemedicine appointments, behavioral health support, chronic illness management, and community education services. The site also features expanded gathering and educational areas, including a Baby Cafe group tailored for new parents.
In addition to its healthcare offerings, the YMCA section of the campus includes an aquatic center, group fitness studios, a wellness center, and indoor recreational areas for children, enhancing the community’s access to health and wellness resources.
Richard “Chip” Davis, CEO of Rochester Regional Health, remarked, ‘In rural areas, where long distances and limited transportation make accessing care difficult, the Healthy Living Campus is a shining example of what can be achieved through innovation and collaboration.’
