The Office of Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley’s NapTown Anti-Dope Move(meant) (NAM) is gearing up to host a Health and Wellness Resource Fair on December 30, 2024. The event is set to take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 141, located at 1707 Forest Drive in Annapolis.
This free event is designed to connect Annapolis residents with an array of community resources and services aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles as the new year approaches.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with various service providers, vendors, and support networks committed to empowering residents in their wellness journeys. Resources available will range from healthcare and mental health services to employment support and financial counseling, making this fair a one-stop location for individuals looking to enhance their quality of life.
In a statement, Mayor Buckley highlighted the fair’s significance, stating, ‘We’re committed to building a healthier, more resilient Annapolis. This Resource Fair is about making sure everyone has access to the tools and support they need to thrive.’ He expressed how connecting people with vital services invests in the community’s well-being.
Organizers are actively seeking additional vendors and community organizations to participate in this initiative. Volunteers interested in supporting the fair are also invited to lend their assistance.
