Meet Alina Warner: A Champion for Community Health
Alina Warner, a Certified Health Coach, is the owner of Wellness Within You. She is dedicated to enhancing the health and vibrancy of the Great Lakes Bay Region, impacting individuals one at a time.
Alina’s health coaching journey began out of concern for future generations, as she was alarmed to discover that children might have shorter life expectancies than their parents. ‘I read alarming statistics about kids having shorter predicted lifespans,’ she said. While volunteering at her children’s school, she recognized that lasting change starts with adults. ‘If I can impact the parents, I can indirectly impact the children and help change habits at home.’
Building Community Connections
Since relocating to Midland from Iowa, Alina has embraced the welcoming community, forging partnerships to increase her impact. She collaborates with Dr. Teona Maghlakelidze at the Obesity Medicine and Wellness Center, saying, ‘I help patients change habits, learn to view food as fuel, and incorporate real, nutritious meals into their routines.’
Addressing Holistic Health
Alina’s approach extends beyond nutrition to include stress management, sleep improvement, and personalized strategies. She emphasizes the need for ongoing support and accountability, stating, ‘Without accountability, we don’t always follow through; we fall into ruts. That’s why it’s so important to work with a coach.’
