Latest Closures and Cancellations

As the winter storm continues to impact northwestern Pennsylvania, officials have announced several cancellations and closures due to adverse weather conditions.

Cancelation of Events

The AHN Festival of Trees scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 30 has been canceled, along with the Festival After Dark event. A decision regarding the Sunday, Dec. 1 event will be made by the morning.

Local Museums and Libraries Close

The expERIEnce Children’s Museum has closed on Nov. 30, Sunday, Dec. 1, and Monday, Dec. 2 due to the weather, reopening on Thursday, Dec. 5. All Erie County Public Library locations are also closed on Saturday.

Class Cancellations Across Universities

Local universities, including Gannon University and Mercyhurst University, have canceled classes for Monday and Tuesday. Penn State Behrend has canceled all classes until Wednesday morning.

Mall and Casino Closures

The Millcreek Mall has also announced its closure for Saturday due to the snowstorm. Similarly, Presque Isle Downs and Casino will remain closed Saturday, with updates expected on their reopening.
