Fireworks Lead to Car Fire at Uttar Pradesh Wedding
A wedding celebration in Uttar Pradesh’s Gandevada village turned into a dangerous scene when a car caught fire during the baraat procession. This incident occurred on Friday in the Fatehpur police station area, triggered by a man igniting firecrackers through the vehicle’s sunroof.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the car was completely destroyed in the blaze. A viral video captured the moment the man began firing the fireworks, leading to flames engulfing the vehicle, while shocked passengers desperately scrambled to escape.
The event sparked widespread attention online, with various reactions on social media. One user commented, “These clowns probably thought it was cool to do that.” Another added, “There are more than a thousand reasons to ban them.”
Following the incident, local police seized the vehicle and imposed a fine on the individual responsible. This is not an isolated case; last month saw similar incidents in Chandigarh where firecrackers were fired from a moving vehicle, prompting legal investigations.
