Join us for a day of health, wellness, and community connection at Danbury Community Wellness Day! Catholic Charities of Fairfield County is excited to host this free event, which will feature the CVS Health Mobile Van offering biometric health screenings, including BMI, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol checks—no insurance required!

Activities and Services

Enjoy family-friendly activities like exploring a fire truck from the Danbury Fire Department, a hula hoop challenge, and a healthy snack station with whole fruits and granola bars. Don’t miss the “MyPlate” activity for kids to promote healthy eating habits.

Additional services include voter registration, SNAP application assistance, and flood relief services. Take a tour of the newly renovated New Heights Center and learn about Catholic Charities’ vital programs, including the Community Support Program, New Outlook Counseling, Family Loan Program, Victims of Crime Assistance (VOCA), Morning Glory Breakfast Kitchen, and Homeless Services.

Community Partners

Local organizations such as Ability Beyond, Mental Health Connecticut, Danbury Department of Health and Human Services, Nuvance Health, and many others will offer resources and information for attendees.

Parking will be available at New Hope Baptist Church, 12 Dr. Aaron B. Samuels Boulevard, Danbury.
