Event Details
The Amarillo VA is organizing a Mental Health and Wellness Summit this Friday, September 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the Amarillo College West Campus Lecture Hall, located at 6222 SW 9th Avenue.
Purpose of the Summit
This summit aims to unite key stakeholders in the community to improve access to mental health services and resources that support local Veterans and their families.
Special Features
The event will include S.A.V.E. Training, designed to educate communities on assisting Veterans at risk of suicide. Additionally, there will be a VA chaplain service and presentations on whole health, mindful awareness, stress reduction, and more.
