Chaves County Health Expo: A Day of Awareness

This device demonstrates how a baby’s brain can be affected after only a few seconds of shaking. Lights inside the baby-shaped head of the device illuminate in areas where a real baby would suffer severe head trauma under similar circumstances.
This was among displays provided by Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. There were 55 vendors at this health and wellness gathering at the Roswell Convention Center, hosted by the Chaves County Health Council.
