Bay College, in partnership with Public Health of Delta and Menominee Counties, has unveiled its new Youth Health & Wellness Center. “We’re celebrating the completion of construction and starting to offer services,” said Mike Snyder, Health Officer for Public Health in Delta and Menominee Counties. The Center will provide non-emergency medical and mental health care for individuals aged 10 to 21. “It provides another opportunity for those in need to receive services. There’s such a shortage of mental health providers, even physical health providers for children. So this will provide more access for those individuals ages 10 to 21 to receive those services,” Snyder added. Representatives from Public Health, Bay College, and their friends and family attended the event. “Public Health Delta and Menominee Counties and Bay College are really about this partnership, and we’re excited to offer this resource,” Snyder concluded.
