The portal includes a detailed map showcasing local assistance programs, clinical services, community centers, fresh food markets, mental health services, and wellness programs. Additionally, it highlights local parks, trails, and recreational facilities.

Health Director David Howard expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “Brunswick County Health Services is excited to offer a centralized resource guide that is useful and accessible to the people in our county. Our commitment to addressing community health issues and supporting the well-being of our community is what motivated us to create this new tool.”

For those interested, you can visit the portal on the county’s website.

This initiative was a collaborative effort between the county’s Health Services and Geographic Information Systems departments.
